RXCSF Youth Cross Country Skiing
Written by Bill Broderick
RXCSF Youth Skiing program participants are anxiously waiting for snow but in the meantime they are enjoying ski training and fun games at Mendon Ponds Park every Saturday morning. It is not too late to sign up for the 2011-2012 season. If you have a child who is 13 years old or younger and interested in cross country skiing our program is for them. Abilities range from beginners who have never skied before to experienced young racers. Skiers from all around the greater Rochester NY area enjoy skiing together at Mendon Ponds Park and the Bristol Mountain Nordic Center throughout the winter season.

Highlander Bicycle Tour Donation to Youth Program:
Written by Bill Broderick
RXCSF gratefully accepts a very generous donation/sponsorship to the RXCSF Youth Program (formerly known as the Genesee Valley Bill Koch League) from The Highlander Bicycle Tour, and its director Dave Bischoff.
According to Youth Director Bill Broderick, this $1000 donation/sponsorship will be put towards keeping costs down for families joining the program (knowing equipment costs for multiple children can be steep.)
RXCSF Youth families ran several rest stops at this past September's Highlander Tour. Pictured below are Katelyn and Laura.
Thank you very much, Dave Bischoff and the Highlander Bicycle Tour!
